Plackers Dental Flossers are an oral hygiene tool designed for interdental cleaning. They feature a floss strand stretched across a plastic handle, often incorporating a fold-away pick at the opposite end. The floss is engineered to slide between teeth to help remove plaque and food debris. Some varieties, like the GentleSlide, are specifically designed with PTFE fiber for easy and comfortable gliding, particularly for those with sensitive teeth and gums. The handles are designed for a comfortable grip, and some products include a mint flavor to leave the mouth feeling refreshed. These flossers are intended for convenient use at home or on the go. Ingredients: Plackers dental flossers are generally made from a combination of materials. The floss itself is engineered from high-performance PTFE (Polytetrafluoroethylene) fiber, designed for durability and to resist stretching, shredding, or breaking. The handles of the flossers are made of plastic. Plackers flossers are confirmed to be free of animal byproducts (such as beeswax) and, with the exception of the Kids Dual Grip variety, are fluoride-free. At the finished product level, they are also gluten and wheat-free. Many Plackers flossers, including the GentleSlide line, feature a mint flavor, which typically derives its taste from menthol. Usage Instructions: To use Plackers flossers, hold the handle and gently guide the floss between your teeth using a zig-zag motion. Move the floss away from the gum line in a gentle back-and-forth and up-and-down motion alongside each tooth to effectively remove food particles and plaque. Rinse the floss as needed and repeat for each tooth. If equipped with a fold-away pick, unfold it and gently use an in-and-out motion between teeth to clean and stimulate gums. Flossing daily is recommended to remove food and plaque from areas a toothbrush cannot reach, helping to prevent tooth decay, gum disease, and bad breath.
